Cancellation saves

Handles "cancel my order" and "cancel my subscription" by finding the reason first — and fixing the fixable ones — while making the genuine exits fast, clean and inside your policy.

01 · Problem

Half of cancellations are requests
the other half are questions in disguise.

The disguise

"Cancel" often means "help"

Too much product left, delivery too early, wrong flavour, card about to expire. Each says 'cancel'; each is asking for a change your policy already allows.

The friction trap

Retention by obstacle backfires

Hidden cancel buttons and mandatory calls save this month's number and poison the review pages. The customer you trapped tells more people than the one you helped.

The blind exit

Nobody learns why they left

The cancellation form's 'other' box is where reasons go to die. You lose the customer and the lesson in the same click.

They pressed cancel on the delivery date. Not on the product.

02 · Solution

05 · FAQs
Is this just a retention-offer script with extra steps?
The opposite. The cancel option is stated first and stays one tap away throughout; there's exactly one diagnostic question, and 'no, just cancel' ends it immediately. The saves come from fixing cadence, timing and plan mismatches — not from wearing people down.
Does it offer discounts to save the subscription?
Only if you've armed one, only inside your limit, and only after the actual fix has been offered first. In pilots most saves needed no discount — the reason was rarely price.
What about one-off order cancellations, not subscriptions?
Same pattern, tighter clock: if the order hasn't shipped, the cancel-or-fix conversation happens in the minutes that matter; if it has, the case becomes a return, handled by that process, honestly labelled.
Can it handle 'pause' even if our plan doesn't have one?
It offers only what your policy and billing actually support. If pause doesn't exist, it won't be invented — but the weekly digest will show you how many exits a pause would have saved, which is the business case, counted.
What do we need to integrate before a demo?
Nothing. The demo replays last quarter's cancellations read-only and shows which were fixable. Going live connects your store, billing and channels — Shopify, Stripe, Zendesk and about 3,000 others.
