Employee helpdesk

Answers leave, pay stub, benefits and policy questions in Slack — straight from your HR system and handbook, with the source cited. HR stops being a search engine and handles the cases that need a human.

01 · Problem

HR answers the same five questions
every day, forever.

The loop

'How many leave days do I have left?'

Asked forty times a month, answered forty times by a person — each answer typed fresh, each one interrupting real HR work.

The handbook

Nobody reads page 34

The answer exists, beautifully formatted, in a PDF nobody opens. So the policy lives as folklore — and the folklore is wrong.

The awkward ask

Some questions wait for privacy

Pay, leave balances, benefits — people hesitate to ask a colleague. So they guess, or sit on it until it becomes a problem.

The answer was on page 34. Everyone asked Priya instead.

02 · Solution

The handbook answers. HR handles the human cases.

"Hey — how many leave days do I have left this year? And do they carry over?"

Clarwiz· Slack

You have 7.5 days left; up to 5 carry over (handbook §4.2). Want me to start a leave request?

  • Request filed: Dec 26–29, routed to their manager

Clarwiz· Systems

A benefits question that isn't in any handbook — routed with care

  • Sensitive case: a medical-leave question, beyond policy lookup
  • Routed privately: to the HR lead, context attached, thread sealed
Clarwiz· Zendesk

Recognizes the question needs a person — routes it to the HR lead privately, no bot answer attempted.

Clarwiz· Slack

Tells the employee a human will reach out today — and who, so it's a name, not a queue.

05 · FAQs
Is it private? Will my manager see what I ask?
Questions are answered in private threads, and query logs are visible to HR admins only — aggregated for the monthly signals, never browsable by managers. What HR can see individually is published in the handbook itself.
What stops it from giving wrong policy answers?
It only answers what it can cite — a handbook section or a live system record. No citation, no answer: the question routes to HR instead. Wrong-answer risk is traded for a routed question, on purpose.
How does it handle sensitive topics?
A defined list — medical, harassment, pay disputes, anything personal — skips automation entirely and routes privately to the HR lead with context. The employee is told a named person will reach out, and when.
Does it work for deskless staff without Slack?
Yes — SMS and email run the same brain. The warehouse team texts the same questions the office asks in Slack, and both get cited answers from the same handbook.
What do we need to integrate before a demo?
Nothing. The demo answers live from your real handbook in thirty minutes. Going live connects your HR and payroll systems — QuickBooks, Zendesk and about 3,000 others.

See this run on your own data.
Thirty minutes, nothing connected.

We take this process, connect nothing, and show you the run end to end on your real conversations and orders. When you're ready, go live at the autonomy level you choose.
